KC Tech Council is Crema’s connection to the pulse of KC’s technology community. It’s a resource for us to learn for the top organizations, as well as understanding the movement in the industry around investment, workforce, policy, and more. As a small technology firm we often don’t have access to resources of larger organizations that invest in understanding these industry metrics. We renew because being a part of the KC Tech Council puts Crema at the center of all things Tech in KC. This is good for our reputation, brand awareness, and business development.
KCTC has offered me opportunities to directly engage in the community through panel discussions, meetups and other events designed to bring Kanas City’s technology community together. Their events are well executed and well attended as well as relevant to the challenges facing businesses today such as talent shortages, policy issues and the like.
KC Tech Council equips us with the region’s most current IT employment and growth data via its KC Specs Annual Report and supports stronger alignment between industry and education through targeted training and networking opportunities.
The primary driver of being apart of KCTC, is the access to the vibrant ecosystem of technology partners in KC, talent pipelines, and policy advocacy that aides in the acceleration of growth in our region. We continue to remain engaged each year because the council delivers sustained networking opportunities, development opportunities, and a collective voice that consistently adds measurable value to the objectives we are set out to achieve.
